Notification No. SO (COLLEGES-II) HED/14-1/2014 dated 12-12-2014 has been issued by the Government of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Higher Education, Archives & Libraries Department, in connection with the Promotion of Lecturers in KPK. In this regard 314 lecturers BPS-17 have been promoted to Assistant Professors BPS-18 with effect affect.
In terms of Section 6(2) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servant Act 1973 read with Rule 15(1) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules 1989 the Assistant Professors on their promotion shall be on probation period for one year extendable upto two years.
