Government of the Punjab, Education Department (School Wing) has already issued the Notification No. SO (S-III)2-16/2007 dated 24-09-2007 in connection with Grant of Science Teaching Allowance @600/- PM for Science Teachers of the Punjab Govt Schools.
The Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to enhance the rates of Science Teaching Allowance with effect from 1st September 2007 for Science Teachers, teaching science subjects to the Secondary classes. The Rates of Science Allowance has been enhanced from Rs. 200/- per month to Rs. 600/- per month. Other conditions in this regard will remain intact.

i m a math teacher sse math and not receving science teaching allowance yet now plz email notification at [email protected]
according to notification no.FD.PC.2-1/83 dated25th AUGuest 1983 issued by the Finance Department Govt. of Punjab that teacher is entitled to draw the science teaching Allowance who is B.SC with natural Sciences( biology chemistry physics and math A&B) and is teacing as SST to secondary classes .Although his appointment is as SST ARTS. IT was again verified by same office via notification no.PR(COOR) ALLOWANCES/VOL. 2 /HM / 705 DATED 2.8.1992 the same matter. Un fortunatly Account Officers of some Districts like M. B. DIN are denying to follow above cited Notification.
