Government of Punjab Finance Department has issued Notification of Upgradation of Clerical Staff Punjab on 4th January 2016.
According to this Notification the following clerical staff has been upgraded with effect from 1st January 2016:

I was a Head Clerk in BS-15 at the time of up gradation on 01-01-2016 by the Punjab Govt. I was drawing basic pay Rs.33610/-PM in BS-15. Now on 01-01-2016 after up-gradation, I was upgraded in BS-16. at the time of pay fixation there is same stage of pay i.e. Rs. 33610/- in BS-16. please clarify that on which pay stage I will be fixed? whether on the same stage of pay or after adding one additional /premature increment? I will be very thankful to you for this clarification.

Advice is solicited either Accounts Clerks already upgraded from BS-09 to BS-11 w.e.f 01-07-2009 are now also upgraded to BS-14 like Senior Clerk up-gradation from Bs-09 to BS-14 according to the finance department Punjab notification dated 04-01-2016 regarding up gradation of clerical staff.

What about the upgradation of assistant cum accountant post?
i am also woring as assistant cum accountant in Health Department. We have not been promoted even we are more educated and qualified as compared to senior clerks or assistants. I think we should go to the high court for our case

WHAT ABOUT TECHNICAL STAFF
It is stated that two No. posts regular working in P.W.D Departments (Irrigation, Buildings,P.H.E. Highway) have been omitted in this demand for up gradation which may be proposed as under:-
1. Accounts Clerk is working in BPS No.11 may be to BPS No. 15 because in these Departments Head Clerk is promoted from Accounts Clerk.
2. Sub Divisional Clerk who is like as Senior Clerk in other Departments. Which should be re-notify as Senior Clerk/ Sub Divisional Clerk in the same scale No.14 However gradation of clerical establishment is brilliant/ historical success from APCA. I specially appreciate APCA.

This is due to agitation which compelled govt to upgrade posts of clerical staff .This will promote education .CM should also up grade the teaching posts specially SSTs who are most deprived.
