This chapter relates to Skina Mai Pension. In this chapter, the period of 7 years is for all citizens, including government servants, under common civil / criminal law, and for all purposes (other than for pension), e.g. dissolution of marriage, inheritance, discontinuation of criminal proceedings.
The period of 12 months is only for those employees of Government of Punjab who go missing while in government service. This special order is applicable to Punjab government servants only for the purposes of family pension, and not for other general purposes.
