Government of the Punjab, Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department has issued Notification No. SO(G-II)9-131/2005 dated 29-07-2016 in connection with Notification of Regularization of Lady Health Workers Punjab.
Notification of Regularization of Lady Health Workers Punjab
Pursuant to the order of Supreme Court of Pakistan passed in CRL Original Petition No. 15 of 2012 in HRC No. 16360/2009. Consultation Petition No. 36 of 2012 and CRL Original Petition No. 73 of 2012 in HRC No. 16360/2009, the Competent Authority has been pleased to regularized the services of Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs), Accounts Supervisors, Lady Health Workers (LHWs), Drivers and other PMU Staff of the National Program for Family Planning and Primary Healthcare Punjab with effect from 1st July 2012 on the following terms and conditions:
Upon regularization the following staff shall be placed at the minimum of the Basic Pay Scales as given below:
Other PMU Staff at Provincial and District Level working in their respective scales as on 01-07-2012
2- Their terms & conditions of service shall be regularized as per provisions of the Punjab Civil Servants Act 1974 and rules framed their under.
3- They shall be deemed to be a dying cadre. The employees in this cadre will cease to exist after their retirement/invalidation/death.
4- The regularization orders wef 1st July 2012 shall be issued to the individual employees in accordance with the Punjab Civil Servants Act 1974 by the respective appointing authority.
