I am today sharing the article regarding Supreme Court Directions on Delay in Pension, submitted by Respectable Agha Amir sb for the information of the pensioners. Summary is as under:
There are still numerous complaints that pension cases are being delayed badly either by the department or by Accounts officers.
In this connection I am attaching a paper which explains in Urdu that Supreme Court has taken these delays very seriously. It has issued directions that heads of department would be deemed to have committed criminal negligence, and would be liable for contempt of court if such a case comes to the court notice.
