Notification of Increased Utility Allowance Sindh Judiciary Staff 2020

The High Court of Sindh Karachi has issued Notification on 20-02-2020 in connection Increased Utility Allowance Sindh Judiciary Staff. Detail is as under:

In pursuance of Article 175(3) regarding separation of Judiciary from executive coupled with Judgment of Hon’able Supreme Court in PLD – SC 105 Constitution of Pakistan 1973 as also the Principle that equals must be treated equally as guaranteed by Article 3 of the  Constitution of Pakistan and in exercise of Power conferred by the Finance Department, Government of Sindh vide Notification No.BI/2(18)/1996 dated 26.11.1996 dated 26.11.1996 and all others enabling powers, further in compliance with the direction of National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee which mandate to remove the disparity in salaries and allowances, the Hon’ble Chief Justice has been pleased to revise the rate of Utility Allowance in favour of the Judicial Officers of Sindh (both cadre & ex-cadre) and Officers & Staff District & Subordinate Judiciary in Sindh w.e.f. 01.12.2019 as per following rates:-

5. BPS-16 10% of running pay but not less than Rs.1000/- Rs.14,000/-
6. BPS-17 Rs.5,000/- Rs.15,000/-
7. BPS-18 Rs.5,000/- Rs.20,000/-
8. BPS-19 and above Rs.6,000/- Rs.30,000/-
