On 12th March 2020, Finance Division in a press release announced and assured for a Suitable Pay Raise in Budget 2020-21. The secretariat employees of Pakistan Secretariat went on strike since many days. They raised the voice to increase salaries Employees. The demanded the Finance Division to enhance their salaries keeping in view the current situation of the prevailing dearness in the country. There held a meeting between the Federal Government Employees and the Finance Division representatives. Finance Division assured the secretariat employees that there will be a reason increase in their pay and salaries during the coming budget 2020-21. Finance Division already announced the tentative date of announcement budget 2020-21 for the Federal Government Pakistan.
Assurance of Suitable Pay Raise in Budget 2020-21 Federal Govt
In a statement issued here on Thursday, the Finance Division has said that on the instructions of Adviser to the PM on Finance & Revenue Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, separate meetings of Secretary Finance and also Special Secretary Finance Division held with the secretariat employees who were on strike to get a full understanding and awareness of the financial constraints and problems facing the government employees due to the inflation in the country.
According to the statement, Government of Pakistan understood and acknowledged the financial issues, problems. They also know the difficulties and economic constrains that all the Government Employees of the Federal Government are facing. Government will prepare the increase in salary proposal keeping in view the overall economic situation and available fiscal space. After approval of the said increase in salary, Finance Division will incorporate the same in the coming Federal Government Budget 2020-2021.
Finance Division issued this statement regarding salary increase of Federal Govt employees on 12-03-2020. I hope Federal Government will take it serious the financial problems of the federal government employees and Govt will raise the salaries of the Federal Government Employees and also ensure the same for the Provincial Government Employees.
I have already published an article regarding the request of the employees to increase salaries in Budget 2020-21. The employees have requested to increase the House Rent Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Merging of the existing Adhoc Allowances, and Introduction of revised basic pay scales 2020. They have also demanded to increase medical allowance, utility allowance for all employees and many others.

I want to ask a question. My father has been passed during service working as Accountant in District Accounts Office and my age was 28 at that time and I applied for the post of Junior Clerk (as per my education) under rule 17-A but couldn’t succeed getting job because of no vacancy at that time.
Now my age is 34.
I want to ask can I get some kind of relaxation regarding age limit and still apply under rule 17-A or not?

You should try to apply for the same with any proof of not availability of the post. As you had the right to get the job even no vacancy.
