The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Elementary & Secondary Education Department has issued a Notification on 03-09-2021 in connection with the Closing of Schools wef 06-09-2021 in KPK. According to the Notification, the school in 8 districts of KP will remain closed till 11th Sep 2021.

Pursuant to the decision taken in the NCOC meeting held on 03.09.2021, the following instructions are hereby issued for strict compliance:
All Public/Private educational institutions shall remain closed for Physical classes in the Districts of Peshawar, Swabi, Malakand, Swat, Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, and D.I.Khan with effect from 6th September 2021 to 11th of September, 2021, to 11th of September, 2021.
The above-mentioned instructions are subjected to be reviewed in light of any further directions issued by NCOC or Provincial Government.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has decided for holidays in schools in particular districts. On the other hand, Punjab Government has announced holidays in Punjab Schools wef 6th Sep 2021 all over Punjab.
Decision Good or Bad?
The Government has done this decision in the best interest of the students. The government wants the safety of the students. It is known that education is compulsory. But in this situation of COVID-19, the health of the students has more important than studies. So the Govt did well. Many of the people are criticizing this decision of the Government. They should know well the reality of the decision.
