Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued a Notification on 20-12-2021 in connection with the Disbursement of Salary on 31st December 2021 Punjab Govt employees. The employees, as well as pensioners, will get pay & allowances and pension on 31-12-2021 in the province.

Disbursement of Pay & Allowances and Pension of Government Employees/ Pensioners of Government of Punjab for the Month of December 2021.
The Finance Department issued a Notification In the wake of 01st & 02nd January 2022 (Saturday & Sunday). These days are gazette holidays, Governor of Punjab pleases to approve that pay & allowances and pension of Government employees/ pensioners of Government of Punjab to disburse on 31st December 2021(Friday). These orders are asper in Note-1 below Rule 5.1 (1) (e), Punjab Financial Rules, Vol-I.
- Foregoing in view, the department requests to take further necessary action accordingly to disbursement of pay & allowances and pension on 31st December 2021 positively.
Other Governments have also ordered the same. In addition to that Federal Government has also issued orders to pay salaries in advance on 20-12-2021 to Christian employees. Federal, Balochistan, Sindh will issue their own Notifications.
