Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued a Notification on 10-06-2022 in connection with Advance Salary June 2022 Punjab employees as well as pension for pensioners. The details are as under:

Falling of Saturday Sunday and Bank Holidays
The reason for disbursement of pay and allowances as well as pension in advance for Punjab is that due to Bank Holiday, and Saturday and Sunday falling.
Governor of Punjab is pleased to approve that pay and allowances & pension of Government employees/pensioners of Government of Punjab shall be disbursed on 30th June 2022 (Thursday), as provided in Note-1 below Rule 5.1 (1) (e), Punjab Financial Rules Vol-I, as 1st July (Friday) being the Bank Holiday and 2nd & 3rd July 2022 (Saturday and Sunday) will be gazetted holidays.
You are requested to take further necessary action accordingly for disbursement of pay and allowances & pension on 30th June 2022 positively.
Punjab Government has not yet announced the Budget for 2022-23. However, Federal Government has presented the same in the national assembly. Here is good news the employees will get now the new Basic Pay Scales i2022. In this regard, I have uploaded the Expected Revised Pay Scales 2022 Chart for the employees.
