Special Conveyance Allowance 2022 to Disabled Employees

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 25-10-2022 in connection with Grant Increase Special Conveyance Allowance 2022 to Disabled Employees Punjab. The special/disabled Government employees of the province of Punjab will get this allowance with enhanced rates with effect from 18^th Oct 2022.

Increase Special Conveyance Allowance 2022 to Disabled Employees Punjab

In continuation of the Finance Department’s letter No.FD.PR.12-5/2015 dated 18.07.2016, 19.07.2019, & 08.10.2019 (Copies enclosed) and in pursuance of the approval of Competent Authority i.e. Chief Minister, the Governor of Punjab has been pleased to enhance the rate of Special Conveyance Allowance Admissible to disable employees of Punjab Government from Rs.2000/- per month to Rs.6000/- per month in addition to normal Conveyance Allowance, with effect from 18.10.2022.

All the other terms and conditions will remain the same for the admissibility of this allowance.

This is a good step for the Government of Punjab toward the Special Employees. Disabled Employees face many difficulties to come to their workplace and back to their homes. Many of them have to hire a special person/taxi/car etc to go to their workplace. This step is one of the best facilities to special person employees of the Government of Punjab. This will really support them in this era of dearness. Other provincial Governments and Federal Government also follow the example of the Punjab Government. They should also grant the same allowance with enhanced rates.
