Winter Holidays 2022 Sindh Education Department

Government of the Sindh, School Education & Literacy Department issued a Notification on 13-12-2022 in connection with Winter Holidays 2022 Sindh Education Department. The details are as under:

According to the Notification, all public and private educational institutions under the administrative control of School Education & Literacy Department Government of Sindh shall remain closed with effect from 22^nd December 2022 to 31^st December 2022 in connection with winter vacation.

The temperature is falling due to winter season in all over the country in impacting on the lives of people. Winter Vacations are starting in all over Pakistan. The schedule for winter vacations is different for different provinces. But there is much difference. The winter vacations usually fall in the end of December.

The government of Punjab and the Federal Government have already issued the schedule for winter vacations. The vacations in all educational in the Federal government shall start from 26^th December 2022. They will resume to 2^nd January 2023.

Whereas the vacations in educational institutes, which are working under the BISE Boards of Punjab shall start from 24^th of December. These vacations shall end on 31^st of December 2022. All the institutions shall open from 1^st January 2023.

Now, the Government of Sindh makes decisions regarding the schedule for winter vacations. In a meeting of steering committee held on 13-12-2022, School Education and Literacy Department decides to close the educational institutes from 22^nd December 2022. The vacation shall end on 31^st of December 2022. All the public and private educational institutions shall reopen from 1^st January 2022.

The Secretary to Government of Sindh, School Education & Literacy Department sends the copies of the notification to all the concerned authorities.

FDE has also notified for winter vacation 2022 Federal in educational institutions in Islamabad. Other Governments will also issue the Notification of their concerned province in a few days.
