Notification of Extension Winter Holidays 2022-23 has been issued by the Federal Directorate of Education Islamabad. The winter vacations around Islamabad continue. Islamabad bears extreme cold weather these days which can be dangerous. The winter vacations in all Private schools of Islamabad as per previous notifications were to be ended on 2nd January 2023. But as the weather is showing its extremity, there is a need for an extension in Winter vacations, to avoid any trouble.
Notification Extention Winter Holidays / Vacation 2022-23
On the account of extreme weather conditions in Islamabad, The Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority grants extensions in winter vacations around Islamabad. The vacations shall be extended up to January 07, 2023.
Winter Holidays Extension Federal
The private institutions in Islamabad shall remain closed till 7th January 2023. They shall reopen now on 8th January 2023 as per notification of authority. The extension in Winter Vacations is being granted due to the wake of extreme cold weather in Islamabad. All the Private Educational Institutions in Islamabad shall observe now A winter break up to January 2023.
All private educational Institutions operating in ICT are advised to ensure compliance in the true letter and spirit.
Punjab government has also announced a winter holiday extension in Punjab schools till 8th January 2023.
Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantt/Garrison) have also announced winter vacations 2022-2023 extension.
