It is a piece of great news for transgender persons that a worthy minister for the School Education department, in Punjab Lahore takes action for the transgender community and for their betterment.
Establishment of Schools for Transgender Persons in Punjab
A worthy minister for the school education department announces the opening of a school for Transgender. Now transgender can easily get an education and become progressive in society. For this purpose, the first school for Transgender persons in Pakistan is going to open in South Punjab at the Government level.
First Government School For Transgender in Multan
It is big news from the worthy minister of the School Education department for the transgender community. The first Government school is opening in Multan. Now, they can get knowledge and become educated citizens. Comprehensive girls higher secondary School, Gulgast colony Multan the government of Punjab, School Education department is planning to open more schools for Transgender in the following schools or districts.
The details of the following schools and districts are as follows:
Government boys higher secondary comprehensive school, R.Y. Khan
Government girls school Khursheed Abad, Muzaffaragarh
Govt girls high school Lodhran
Government girls high school canal colony Rajanpur
In view of the above-mentioned Worthy minister for the School Education department requests to conduct a survey of transgender and submit the report containing names and numbers of potential students in the said schools/ areas. So, as soon as possible Education department start working on it and move forward. Hence, Government will have appropriate information about transgender. Which will be handy in holding the process.
Admission Start Date
The date of opening the transgender school in South Punjab is 7th July 2023. From the 7th of March 2023, transgender persons can apply for admission to these schools. So, they would also get facilitated with education.
