The Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Energy (Power Division) issued a Notification on 16-03-2023 in connection with the
Clarification PM Assistance Package for Government Employees. This clarification is for the bereaved families of Government employees who die while in service. The details are as under:
Clarification PM Assistance Package for Government Employees Who Die During Service
Ministry of Energy government of Pakistan clarifies family assistant packages for diseased government servants pleased to notify you about its approval of all government employees who died during service in 2014 and 2015 conveyed wide establishment division OM no. 7/40/ 2005 dated June 13, 2006 number 8/10 /2013 E2 dated October 20, 2014, number 8/10 /2013 date. The Prime Minister was further pleased to approve that the services of contract employees appointed under PMAP-2006 and PMAP-2015 who are still working under the existing contract shall be regularized with immediate effect.
Amendments and Additions to PM Assistant Packages
The provision of contracts for employees under the Prime Minister assistant package 2015 the Ministry amended with regular employment with urgent effect in accordance with civil servants’ appointments promotions and their transfer rules 1973 except the condition of advertisement the prime minister. already relaxed.
For all the regular employees under the prime minister’s assistant package 2015 if the applicant or the candidate failed to pass the aptitude skill test required for the specific post up to the basic scale 15 under civil servants’ APT rules 1973 the opportunity of regular appointment the department will extend to next lower posts.
Approval of assistant package for contract employees
Prime Minister pleases to announce that the service contract employees under the prime minister’s assistant package 2006 and Prime Minister resistant package 2015 all the candidates who were still working under the existing contract will be regularized beta urgent effect as a one-time dispensation.
Prime minister’s assistant package for nonbonding autonomous Bodies it is clarified in the notification that the Prime Minister’s assistant package for the families of government servants who dies in service are not binding in autonomous bodies or semi-autonomous bodies corporations as their employee are not civil servants in terms of section 21B of civil servant act .1973
Regularization of contract employees
It is also conveyed that no employee working on contingent or daily wages or contractual basis etc. in any DISCO the department will make regular permanent. The government has issued all the instructions related to the letter of the Prime Minister’s assistant package for all those families of the deceased government employees. Section officer DISCO issued a letter to the all-CEO officers of all DISCO about clarification regarding the Prime Minister’s assistance package for the families of government employees who dies in the service. The Ministry of Energy government of Pakistan’s power division strictly ordered to follow the instructions related to the allotment of family packages. All these packages are released for the welfare of the families after the death of their family member who served the government of Pakistan.
