The finance department government of Punjab issued a notification regarding the admissibility of the secretariat allows during OSD waiting for posting. Queries and Response Regarding Executive Allowance for OSD
Officers arise a question, of whether the civil secretariat allows his admissible to the officers who remained to wait for the posting as OSD for more than 90 days. They also received an executive allowance for the first 90 days in light of the finance department notification issued on 09-09-2021. The matter has been examined and it is observed that:
According to the finance department, notification Executive Allowance is admissible for the first 90 days only to the officers waiting for posting as OSD
An officer will get Civil Secretariat Allowance during awaiting posting as OSD for the 1st 90 days.
Clarification Regarding Admissibility CSA
After queries and responses, the department clarifies that Civil Secretariat Allowance employees will get a further 90 days for those officers who have already drawn Executive Allowance for 90 days during awaiting posting as OSD.
For more clarification About the admissibility of monthly rates of the civil secretariat allows. we can keep in view the letter that the finance department issued for the respective 90 days.
Inadmissibility Of Executive Allowances Our Secretariat Allowances
According to the finance department letter bearing No.FD.PR.3-2/2009 dated on 26-05-2018 & 22-07-2023, Civil Secretariat Allowance may be kept in view for the respective 90 days. After the expiry of a total of 180 days Executive Allowances and Secretariat Allowances will not admissible.
