Government of the Punjab, Labour & Human Resource Department, Punjab Workers Welfare Fund issued a Notification on 06-04-2023 in connection with the Enhancement of Rates of Marriage Grant and Death Grant PWWF. The details are as under:
Enhancement of Rates of Marriage Grant and Death Grant 2023 PWWF
In pursuance of the decision of Governing Body of Workers Welfare Fund, Islamabad was taken in its 156th meeting held on 24.02.2023, rates of marriage and death grant cases are hereby enhanced, as per the following rates, w.e.f. 27.03.2023:-

PWWF Decision
The Workers Welfare Fund, Islamabad decides to enhance the rates of Welfare Grants in case of Death and Marriage. The Punjab Welfare Fund approves the new enhanced rates. Here are the details.
Workers Welfare Fund Increase in Rates in Case of Marriage and Death
The Punjab Workers Welfare Fund, under the Labour & Human Resources Department, Government of Punjab takes a good step to provide relief to the Workers. The Welfare Grants rates have been increased by the Workers Welfare Fund, Islamabad in the 156th meeting held on 24th February 2023. As now the enhanced rates are approved, the Labour & Human Resources Department notifies about the new rate.
Now, these new rates are applicable. The Welfare grant for Marriage was only Two Hundred Thousand. It is now raised to 4 Hundred Thousand. The Welfare grant in case of Death was Six hundred thousand. Which has increased up to Eight Hundred Thousand. It is good to step in. It will provide relief to the workers.
