Notification of Enhanced Financial Assistance Rates on Retirement Rs. 40000/- to Rs. 60000/- have been issued by the Higher Education Archives and Libraries Department, Education Employees Foundation, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. The new rates of financial assistance are applicable for employees who will retire on 1st January 2023 or later.

The Higher Education Archives and Libraries Department increase the Financial assistance Fund for Educational staff. The decision is made in the 5th meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Employees Foundation. The meeting was held on 02/11/2022. The managing director of the Higher Education Archives and Libraries Department issues notification regarding the enhanced Financial assistance rate on retirement. The content of the. It is hereby notified for the information of all Education Employees that the Board of Governors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Employees Foundation in its 5th meeting held on 02/11/2022 had enhanced the rate of financial assistance granted by the KP-Education foundation under section-4 of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Employees Foundation Act, 2018 (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act No. VI of 2019) and Schedule-II of Regulation-8 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Employees Foundation Welfare and Financial Assistance Regulations-2021) on retirement to the Education Employees @Rs. 30,000/- (each) and has decided that Financial assistance on retirement the employees will get grade-wise w.e.f 01/01/2023, as per the following details:-
New Rates
| BPS | Rates Approved by BOQ w.e.f. 01/01/2023 |
| 1 to 10 | Rs. 40, 000/- (Once) |
| 11 to 16 | Rs. 50, 000/- (Once) |
| 17 & above | Rs. 60, 000/- (Once) |
The above grade-wise financial assistance is applicable to only those Education Employees who are being retired on Or after 01/01/2023.

The Education Employees Foundation did well by issuing the Notification. This will really support the retiring employees. The Education Employees Foundation should increase the retirement amount assistance keeping in view the recent hike in the prices of daily-use items.
