Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Interior issued a Notification on 13-04-2023 in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 Holidays Federal Government. The Federal Government employees will observe 5 days of Eid ul Fitr Holidays with effect from 21st April 2023 to 25th April 2023. The details are as under:
Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 Holidays Federal Government
The federal government of Pakistan has announced the Eid holidays. From 21st April 2023 to 25th April 2023. The Federal Minister of Pakistan issued a summary regarding the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. Almost all the provincial governments including Punjab, Sind, KPK, Baluchistan, and Gilgit Baltistan also issued notifications regarding holidays to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. All provincial governments granted the same holidays to their employees in their notification.
Eid ul Fitr Holidays by FG
As per the notification issued by the federal government of Pakistan all the public and private institutions and departments will remain closed during the public holidays of Eid-ul-Fitr. All the employees and staff will remain off duty during these holidays. The government provides these holidays to the employees in order to celebrate this religious festival with their family members. This festival is not a sole celebration of individuals but it is celebrated by the whole Muslim community unitedly.
Announcement of Eid Holidays 2023
Every year government of Pakistan announced three to four days of holidays in order to celebrate one of the significant religious festivals is Eid-ul-Fitr. During these holidays no educational or administrative activity is performed by any employee working in the private or public sector. All the public and private institutions. Remain closed these holidays.

Before this Islamia University Bahawalpur issued the Notification Eid ul Fitr Holidays 2023 IUB for its employees. Now the Federal Government has also issued the Notification for Eid Holidays 2023.
