Notification of Eid-ul- Fitr Holidays 2023 Punjab Employees

Government of Punjab, S&GAD Department issued a Notification on 14-04-2023 in connection with Eid-ul- Fitr Holidays 2023 Punjab employees.  All Government employees of the Punjab province will observe Eid holidays with effect from 21st Apr 2023 to 25th Apr 2023. The details are as under:

All Government and Semi-Government offices including all clerical and Non-Administrative staff or other  Departments will not be on duty from 21st April 2023.

Eid-ul-Fitr is a day of huge celebrations for the Muslim Community. All Muslims all around the World celebrate this festival After the holy month of Ramadan on 1st SHAWAL.

 

Punjab Government  Announces Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays

 

This year Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on Friday 21st of April or Saturday 22nd of April 2023. The celebrations will be made nationwide. The whole Muslim community will make celebrations happily. For the complete celebrations of employees with their families, Government has also disbursed the salaries and pensions of government employees in advance for the month of April.

All government and semi-government institutions and departments will remain closed during these holidays. The holidays will start…………………………………

The schedule of Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays for 2023 already exists in the Public and Optional Holidays 2023 Pakistan. Federal Government issued this schedule in December 2022.

Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays

 

Eid-ul-Fitr is an important festival for Muslims all over the world. In Pakistan, Eid holidays are observed for a maximum of three to four days. It also depends upon the lunar calendar. For the year 2023 government of Punjab announces the dates of the Eid holidays based on the sighting of the Shawwal moon which finally marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. This festival, not only celebrates the rich communities but every Muslim who belongs to any standard of living Celebrates this event. All Muslims give Fitrana as financial support to the poor people who cannot afford to manage the preparations for Eid.
