Government of Sindh, Finance Department issued a Notification on 18-04-2024 in connection with Notification Same Scale Promotion of Accountants (BPS-17) Sindh. These accountants were working on an acting charge basis (BPS-17) from Accountant (BPS-15). Now they have got the promotion as regular Accountants BPS-17. The details are as follows:

NO.FD(TR)5(107)2024 on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) held on 29-3-2024 and with the approval of the Competent Authority  / Finance Minister, Sindh, The following Assistant Accountants (BPS-15) working as Accountant (BPS-17) on acting charges basis in the Treasury & Accounts Service, Sindh are hereby Promoted to the same post if Accountant (BPS17), Treasury & Accounts Service Sindh on regular basis, with immediate effect:

Acting charge-based promotion is not a regular promotion. The employees working on an acting charge basis do not have all the benefits of a regular basis promoted employees. Now after promotion as a regular employee, they will get all the pay and allowances and other benefits of the BPS-17.
