I am sharing the latest news updates of Revised Pay Scales 2025, 10% Increase in Salary for the Government employees. These latest news updates are as per the Daily Dunya Newspaper dated 11 May 2025. The details are as follows:
News Updates Revised Pay Scales 2025 and ARA-2025 @ 10% in Budget 2025-26
As per the newspaper, there is a proposal for a 10% increase in salaries for the Government employees in the Budget 2025-26. The government may merge two Adhoc relief allowances into basic pay and thus introduce the Revised Pay Scales 2025. The government is announcing the annual budget 2025-26 during the 1st week of June 2025 (Tentative).
More Details of the Latest New Updates of Salary Increase
According to the newspaper, in detail, the Federal Government of Pakistan may replace the Revised Basic Pay Scale 2022 and introduce revised pay scales for 2025. Currently, the employees are getting two Adhoc relief allowances that are ARA-2024 and ARA-2023. The government may merge these two Adhoc allowances into basic pay. This will create the New Basic Pay Scales 2025. After merging 2 adhoc allowances, the Government may announce the Adhoc Relief Allowance 2025 @ 10% of the basic pay of the new pay scales.
