Government of Sindh, Finance Department issued a Notification on 09-07-2025 in connection with the Increase in Pension 2025 @ 8% Sindh for the pensioners. This pension increase in 2025 Sindh, is with effect from 1st July 2025. The details are as follows:
Increase in Pension 2025 @ 8% Sindh
The Finance Department of Sindh issued the notification for the Grant of an increase in Pension to the Civil Pensioners of the Government of Sindh. The main points of the Notification are as under:
- The Government of Sindh has been pleased to sanction an increase @8% of net pension with effect from 1st July, 202,5, until further orders to all civil pensioners of the Sindh Government.
- The increase in pension @8% as mentioned at Paa-1 above will also be admissible to the pensioners who would retire on or after 1st July, 2025.
- For the purpose of admissibility of increase in pension sanctioned in this office Memorandum, the term “Net Pension” means “pension being drawn” minus “Medical Allowance”.
- The increase will also be admissible on family pension granted under the Pension-cum Gratuity Scheme 1954, West Pakistan Civil Service Pension Rules 1963, and Sindh Liberalized Pension Rules 1977, as amended from time to time.
- If the gross pension sanctioned by the Sindh Government is shared with any Government in accordance with the rules laid down in Part IV of Appendix III to the Accounts Code, Volume I, the amount of the increase in pension will be shared between the Sindh Government and the other Government concerned on a proportionate basis.
- The increase in pension sanctioned in this O.M. will not be admissible on Special Additional Pension, allowed in lieu of pre-retirement Orderly Allowance, and the monetized value of a driver or any orderly.
It is to mentioning here that the Finance Department Sindh has already issued the Notification ARA 2025 @ 12% and 10% for the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-22.
