Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department issued a Notification on 08-07-2025 in connection with Utility Allowance 2025 @ 18,000/- per month KPK. The details are as follows:
Grant Utility Allowance 2025 @ 18,000/- per month KPK
In pursuance of the decision of the Provincial Cabinet in its special meeting held on 13.06.2025, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been pleased to accord sanction of the Utility Allowance at Rs 18,000/- to the Officers of BPS-19 appointed by the competent authority and working in the civil Secretariat, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa w.e.f. 1st July, 2025.
- The above allowances will be admissible subject to the following conditions:
- it will be subject to Income Tax.
- it will not be counted towards pension and commutation/ gratuity.
iii. it will be admissible to Officers on Special Duty (OSD), however, the same will not be admissible to officers who are on Extra Ordinary Leave (EOL) or Suspension or on Earned Leave for more than 120 days.
- Officers employed on a pay package other than the National Pay Scale are not entitled to this allowance.
