There are the latest Salary Increase News (30-05-2026) Budget 2026-27 for the Government employees of Pakistan. As per the Daily Express there are some good news for the employees of Pakistan. There is a proposal of 10% increase in salary. As previously announced, the date of announcement of Budget 2026-27 is 5th June 2026 t 5 pm. The details are as under:
The Latest Salary Increase News Budget 2026-2027
According to the Daily Express dated 30th May 2026 claim, the Federal Government has prepared the proposals of reasonable Salary and Pension Increase Budget 2026-27. However the increase in salary and pension is on the condition of approval by International Monetary Fund (IMF). As per the Latest Pay and Allowances Increase News Budget 2026-27, the employees may have the following:
Relief for Govt employees
- Merging One Adhoc Relief Allowance into Basic Pay and Revised Pay Scales 2026
- 10% Adhoc Relief Allowance
- Increase in Conveyance Allowance
- Disparity Reduction Allowance
- Pension Increase
- Relief in Income Tax
- Contributory Pension Scheme
Proposal of Revised Pay Scales 2026
As per the news, there is a proposal to merge one of the adhoc relief allowances into basic pay and introduction of Revised Pay Scales 2026.
10% Increase in Salary
There is a proposal to increase in salary @ 10% of basic pay.
Increase in Conveyance Allowance
Due to the hike in petroleum prices and fares of vehicles, there is a proposal to increase the CA for BPS-20 to BPS-22 @ 50% to 75%. The employees of BPS-01 to BPS-22 may get a 100% increase in Conveyance Allowance (CA).
Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA)
There is a proposal to grant a disparity reduction allowance for the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-16.
Increase in Pension for Pensioners
There is a proposal for the increase in pension @ 80% keeping in view the dearness for the last two years. (looking impossible).
Reduction in Income Tax
There is a proposal to reduce Income Tax for the employees having salary 12 to 22 lac annually.
Inclusion in CP Scheme the Armed Forces
There is a proposal to include the armed forces into contributory pension scheme. The civil servants of the Government are already included in the CP Scheme.
Comparision of The Latest Salary Increase News Before Budget 2026-27
If we go back a few days and look at the Daily Dunya, there is nearly the same Increase in Salary News in Budget 2026-27 but just a difference. The only difference is merging of ARAs. As per Dunya news, there was a proposal to merge all 4 adhoc relief allowances into basic pay of Revised Pay Scales 2022 while the express says only one.
