The Federal Government has taken a good step in welfare of the Federal Government Employees and adopted a policy of decentralization of hiring of residential accommodation serving at six stations including Federal Capital, Four Capitals of Provinces and Rawalpindi w.e.f. 1-7-2004. Consequent upon grant of higher time scale to the various categories of employees after grant of higher Time Scale before introduction of Basic Pay Scale 2011, are getting less pay than that would have been admissible to them had the grant of higher time scale taken place after the introduction of Basic Pay Scale 2011.
Notification No. FD (SOSR-1) 2-123/2013 dated 31st December 2013 has been issued by KPK Govt in connection with clarification regarding Grant of One Special Advance Increment to the Employees holding Selection Grade prior to Up-Gradation of their posts in BPS already held by them. Thus the employees of KPK are eligible to get the Premature Increment on Upgradation.
