Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, Rawalpindi has given its decision on 03-06-2013 in favour of the FGEIs teachers in connection with up gradation and Time Scale Promotion.
It is added that the teachers of Federal Directorate of Education are already enjoying the Up-gradation and Time Scale Promotion Scheme. The summary of this decision is that:
In view of the Prime Minister’s Directions No. 2605 dated 17-02-2011 and keeping in view the order dated 29-09-2008 passed by the Federal Service Tribunal and the judgment dated 13-02-2012 passed in W.P No. 1826/2011, there are no reasons to form a different opinion than the one formed in the referred judgments. These writ petitioners are accepted. The respondents are directed to make the funds available and order the up gradation in the case of the petitioners which has so far been withheld on the pretext of the paucity of the funds wef 01-01-2011 the date when the same up gradation bestowed to those serving under the FDE, Islamabad keeping in view the time scale formula in case of the petitioners in the instant W.P No. 1622/2012 and to the other petitioners without the application of the time scale formula as it is not applicable in their case.

4 tier structural formula is only for Scale 17 and above. It is not new. It was at the ratio 50:34:15:1 which means 50% in scale 17, 34% in 18, 15% in 19 and 1% in scale 20.
Now it is going to be modified with a ratio 42:36:19:3.

what is the fate of financial benefit in a department for its employees,
Can a department give special allowance to some of its employees, only on the basis of qualification that they posses BA/BSC and MA/MSc (Graduation/ post graduation degrees) to some categories even though the required qualification for the post is Master degree
but the special allowance is not allowed to officers in other categories even though they also posses Master degrees, i think it is clear cut discrimination. where i can appeale in high court or FST

Dear Shakeel, U have to wait for the Final Notification of the FGEIs. It will clear the date and criteria of the Time Scale.

I am TGT in FGEI. I wana know do we have right to have summer vacation or the director can order us to attend skol for summer camp and work shops and in that case can we claim conveyance allowance and TA/DA?
Dear Jan, the orders given by the Director are compulsory for you. If you join the summer camp or workshop from out station then you are eligible to get the TA/DA and within the station CA too.
Dear Sis, whether the Federal Govt has Upgraded the post of SSTs(Secondary School Teachers) to BPS 17 if so can you tell me the time scale formula of this cadre.
Dear Fayyaz Ahmad still no upgradation for FGEIs teachers. However the court has made decision in their favour.
