The Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench has issued a decision on 08-03-2011 regarding the Assistant Package for the family of a contract employee of Punjab Govt who died during service. Mr. Muhammad Aslam Janjua the father of the died contract employee Mr. Talat Mahmood Janjua filed a writ petition VS Chief Engineer Punjab etc for the Assistant Package of Rs. 400,000/-.

I am here describing all the packages for the families of Govt Employees who die during service. These packages are vide the Establishment Division Office Memorandum No. 7/40/2005-E.2 dated 13-06-2006, 30-12-2006, 21-10-2006, 01-08-2007, 15-03-2008, PM Secretariat (Public) U.O No. 42/GS/Estab/2006 dated 16-10-2006,  No. 8/1/2011-E.2 dated 3rd November 2011 & 8/20011-E.2 dated 15th March 2012.

Assistant Package for Families of Govt Employees who Die in Service-Waiver of Balance Amount of Motor Car, Motor Cycle and Bicycle Advances

Govt of Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat Establishment Division, Islamabad has already issued Notification No. 8/1/2011-E.2 dated 3rd November 2011 regarding the Waiver of balance amount of Motor Car, Motor Cycle and Bicycle Advances for the families of Govt Employees who die during service.

5,000 Flats for the Federal Govt Employees for Lower Grade Employees

Federal Govt has decided a new Federal Housing Scheme for the lower grade employees. There will be 1500 Flats in Karachi, 1800 Flats in Lahore, 700 Flats in Islamabad, 500 Flats in Quetta and 500 Flats in Peshawar. The proper announcement of this scheme will be made by the PM during the month of Feb 2013. This plan will be finalized in 5 years. The employees of BPS-01 to 16 can avail the facility of flats. Every residential building will be 10 storied.

Educational Scholarships for Children of Employees

The Punjab Govt has announced Educational Scholarships for the kids of Govt Employees. The kids of All the Govt employees who have got 60 % marks in SSC and HSSC can apply for these scholarships. The students who have passed their SSC or HSSC exams through BISE and FBISE are eligible for these scholarships.

The income of the parents of the students must be maximum 15000/- per month. The following categories can apply for these scholarships:
