According to the Copy of Budget Speech 2016-17 and Pay & Allowances for the Employees is as under:

Copy of Budget Speech 2016-17 and Pay & Allowances for the Employees

For Government employees, pensioners and workers I announce the following relief measures:

Revised Pay Scales 2016

1) Ad-hoc increases of 2013 and 2014 will be merged in the pay scales;

Adhoc Relief Allowance 2016

2) 10% Adhoc Relief Allowance on running basic pay will be allowed to all federal government employees with effect from 1st July 2016;

Special Area Compensatory Allowance

 

3) Special Area Compensatory Allowance at the uniform rate of Rs. 300 per month from Rs. 50- 210 for civil armed forces, posted in border areas;

Unattractive Area / Compensatory Allowance

 

4) Unattractive Area / Compensatory Allowance for Chitral, Dir,

Hazara Division, Swat and Malakand at par with rates allowed by the KPK Govt;

 

Special Conveyance Allowance

 

5) Special Conveyance Allowance to disabled employees @

Rs.1000/- PM (on the proposal of leader of the opposition);

 

Integrated Allowance

 

6) Integrated Allowance allowed to Quasid/N.Quasid/Daftries from

Rs.300/- PM to Rs.450/- PM;

 

Revision of Outfit Allowance

 

7) Revision of Outfit Allowance allowed to Pak Army officers on their secondment to civil Armed Forces and reversion to Army from

Rs.800 to Rs.2,500 and from Rs.500 to Rs.2,000, respectively.

 

Revision of Late Sitting Conveyance Charges

 

8) Revision of Late Sitting Conveyance Charges by 50% to employees in BPS 1-15;

 

Washing Allowance

 

9) Washing Allowance @ Rs. 100/- and Dress Allowance @ Rs.

100/- allowed to employees in BPS 1-4 from Rs. 100/- to Rs. 150/;

 

M.Phil Allowance

 

10) M. Phil Allowance @25% of Ph.D Allowance i.e Rs.2,500 per month to Federal Govt Employees on the pattern of Govt of

Punjab;

 

Additional Charge Allowance /Deputation Allowance

 

11) Additional Charge Allowance /Deputation Allowance Revision of

Ceiling from Rs.6,000/- to Rs.12,000/- for identical and nonidentical post;

 

Current Charge Special Pay

 

12) Current Charge Special Pay – Revision of ceiling from Rs.6,000/-

to Rs.12,000/-;

 

Increase in Qualification Pay

 

13) Increase in Qualification Pay @50% and inclusion of ACCA/CIMA qualification – CA/ICMA/ICWA/ACCA/CIMA, Staff

College/NMC/NDC, NIPA Adv Course / Mid Career etc.;

 

Upgradation of Clerical Staff & Khateeb etc

 

14) Upgradation of LDC (BS-7 to BS-9), UDC (BS-9 to BS-11),

Assistant (BS-14 to BS-16) and Assistant-in-Charge (BS-15 to

BS-16);

15) Upgradation of posts of Khateebs (BS12 to BS-15),

Moazzins/Muddaris( BS-5 to BS-7) Khadim (BS-5 to BS-6) Auqaf

Directorate, ICT;

 

Risk Allowance/Special Risk Allowance

 

16) Risk Allowance/Special Risk Allowance to Federal Levi Force in

FATA, PATA (KPK) and Baluchistan equal to One Month Initial Basic Pay of 2008 pay scale.

 

 

Minimum Wages Rates

 

17) On the pattern of increase in the pay of Government employees the minimum wage of labour for their benefit is being increased from Rs.13,000 to Rs.14,000 per month.

 

Increase in Pension

 

  1. The government is fully aware of the hard times that many of the pensioners and their families are facing. For their welfare, the present

Government took several measures during last three years. The following relief measures are being announced today for further welfare of pensioners and their families:

1) 10% increase in net pension to all pensioners of federal government with effect from 1st July 2016;

2) 25% increase in net pension to all pensioners of federal government above the age of 85 years with effect from 1st July

2016;

3) Revision of Ex-Gratia Pension allowed to pensioners of former

East Pakistan from Rs.2,000 to Rs.6,000 self pension and from

Rs.1,000 to Rs.4,500 pm Family Pension;

4) For pensioners Pensioner scheme, and senior citizens’ and widows’ investment in Bahbood scheme of National Savings, the upper limit of investment is being increased from Rs.4 million to Rs.5 million.

    Ma’am, Thanx for updating the website. Is the qualification pay admissible to BPS-18 (Defence Forces) who have done Master or MBA degree from HEC recognised university.

    Main ne suna hy k ab ye allowance 5000 Rs. se 7500 Rs. ho gya hy. Kya ye khabr sahi hy?

    Dear madam, please confirm why did not upgrade accounts clerk (Bps-8 education department) & last year also did not update.
    Your kind confirmation required in this regards.
    lab att/ naib qasid has been promoted as junior clerk bps 5 to bps 7 and now upgrade bps9 but accounts clerk not promoted.

    Ya tho Ishaq Dar bewaqoof hay ya pir badniyat – 2013, 2014 k Adhoc Basic pay ma shamil karnay ki bajai iss say pehlay sal ka aik Adhoc shamil kar detha jo in 2 sal k barabar bantha hay – Ab tho aisa he kiya hay k “Aagay Daur, Peechay Chorh”.

    medmmai bps 5 ka mulazm hn. meri mojoda basic pay 7665 hy. sath me 13, 14 ke 2 adhak zam kren jo 540, 540 hain to ye 8745 bnty hai. ab is pe 10%izafa 874 bnta hy mai abe 17044 pay le rha hn,. meri pay just 874 he brhy ge ya is ke elawa b kuch izafa ho ga???? tell me plzzzz

    I was appointed as a Computer Operator in BPS-14 in 2006 in Establishment of Consumer Liasion Office, Project, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Pakistan. I became regular employee of PSQCA on 29th Sep 2007. I have been working in the same grade from last 9 years and there is no any departmental promotion/ or government promotion since then.

    Will the university lecturers with mphil qualification also receive the mphil allowance? public sector universities are semi-autonomous but draw their salary from federal budget.

    Ya log technical walo ki upgradation ku ni kr rahey han… kb sa case chal raha ha pr ab tk koi answer ni aaraha ha.. junior store keeper BS-5 or Assistant Store Keeper BS-7 ma ha… inki upgradation k liye govt. ku step ni lay rahi.

    salalm medan.conveance allowance jo fifty percent barha ha kia ya paktan deffence forces pa applicable hoga.mujha es waqt 1932 per month mil raha ha ya allowance or hamari late setting hi hoti ha
    ya phir ap ya bataday ka late setting ma konsa workers atay ha f.g ka

    Madam what about HRA and other allownces like medical and convenaynce allowance ? scale revised but what about these allowances ? we are getting these allowances on 2008 Basic pay . Now What ? 2011 ? 2015 ? 2016 ?

    this is only for whom who sit late after duty hours, it is raised from 100 to 150 rupees per day for only scale 1 to 15 employees

    New recruitment on Contract basis in PESCO is in final stage. And appointment letters likely to be issued in a week. Will these contract employees be upgraded?
