Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued Notification No. FD.PR.2-1/2009 dated 31-01-2017 in connection with Special Allowance @50% to the Employees of Civil Secretariat Punjab.
According to this Notification, Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to revise the rates of Special Allowance from 20% to 50% of basic pay of the pay scales 2008, as frozen on 30-06-2011, in favour of the employees of Punjab Civil Secretariat (BPS-01 to BPS-22) working/posted in the Punjab Civil Secretariat, Lahore. This allowance has been enhanced with effect from 01-02-2017.
