Office of the Accountant General Sindh has issued circular on 11-09-2019 in connection with Automatic Restoration Sindh Pensioners Pension. Detail is as under:
According to the Notification, the Accountant General Sindh has been pleased to order that for Restoration of Pension at the age of 72/75 years;
- There is no need of personal appearance
- There is no need of application
It will be done automatically
This is a very good decision, if so then many old aged pensioners will be benefited of the documents and the rounds of the offices. It is simple thing when the account office has all the record why they should demand other documents. When they are paying pension without the presence of the pension why they need at the time of restoration of pension?
I suggest that it should be all over Pakistan. In the same pension papers also be made simple. Pension. It should be released on simple one or two papers and there should be a simple one paged proforma that include all the details instead of bundles of documents. It is minimum 72 years who retired after 01-12-2001 and minimum 75 who retires before this date.
Whether it is optional or compulsory to commute a part of gross pension in Sindh govt
According to my knowledge, an employee can get a full pension and he/she will not get commutation.
It is a good decision for aged pensioners, there is a question regarding widows family pensioners whether their pension may be doubled after they have reached at 72/75 years of their ages or not?
This is very right, it should be only one page proforma. In this proforma only Name ,Detail of family Members, Date of Birth, Date of Joining ,CNIC , Pensionable amount and date of retirement should be minitioned
