Irrigation Department Employees Regularization wef Date of First Joining

Office of the Chief Engineer, Planning & Review Zone has issued an Office Order on 01-02-2021 in connection with Irrigation Department Employees Regularization wef Date of First Joining.  The details of the Regularization of these employees are as under:

In supersession of this office order No. CE/P&R/2020/708-17/04, dated 28.02.2020 and in pursuance of the circular issued by Services and General Administration Department Regulation Wing, Government of the Punjab, letter No. SOR-III(S&GAD)2-8/2018, dated 19th January 2021, received through Secretary, Irrigation Department vide letter No. E&A(D)7-2/2020 dated 26.01.2021. The following Junior Clerks (BS-11) appointed under Rule 17-A of Punjab Civil Servants (Appointments & Conditions of Services) Rules, 1974 already regularized dated 28.02.2020, now are hereby regularized with effect from the date of their initial recruitment/date of induction into Government Service mentioned against each their name subject to recovery of 30% SSB (Social Security Benefit) according to the mechanism delineated by the Finance Department. The term and conditions are already mentioned in the previous regular order dated 28.02.2020.

 

The Department regularized a total of six employees vides this Notification. All these employees, the Irrigation Department, has regularized from their 1st /initial date of joining the Govt service.

    Aoa. What about upgradation from BPS-16 to BPS-17 Administrative Officer Federal Department. Moreover, Education, Railway, CDA Department has already upgraded to BPS 17 but many more department are facing disparity between scale.

    • You are right, in many departments, the employees are deprived of the upgradation.
