Government of Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 07-04-2023 in connection with the Disbursement of Pay and Allowance in Advance April 2023 Punjab. The Pensioners of Punjab will also get the advance pension for the month of April 2023 due to Eid-ul-Fitr 2023. Punjab Government will disburse the salary of April 2023 on 17-04-2023. Punjab Employees Disbursement of Pay and Allowance in Advance April 2023 Punjab
Governor of Punjab is pleased to approve the disbursement of pay & allowances and pension for the month of April 2023, in advance on 17th April 2023 on account of Eid-ul-Fitr to Government employees and pensioners, belonging to the Muslim Community, in terms of Rules 5.1 (1)-f and 5.2 (3) respectively on the Punjab financial rules, volume-I.
Forgoing, in view, you are requested to take further necessary action accordingly for the disbursement of pay & allowances and pension on 17th April 2023 positively.
Sindh Government Finance Department has also issued the Notification of Salary in Advance on 17th April 2023 in Sindh province. The Sindh Govt employees and pensioners will also get their salary and pension on the same day as Punjab Government will do.
Employees, Pensioners, and Salary in Advance
It is a good decision for the Finance Department of Punjab. The employees and pensioners will get advance salary and pension on 17th April 2023. This will facilitate the employees to purchase dresses, shoes, and other necessary items on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr 2023. Due to the hike in the price of the daily use items, most of the employees have exhausted their pockets during the early days of this week. Now the employees will get their salary nearly a week before the Eid-ul-Fitr and will go shopping for Eid.
Till 07-04-2023, Punjab and Sindh Government Finance Departments issued Notification for salary and pension in advance. AJK, GB, Balochistan, KPK, and Federal Governments will also issue their Notification soon. As soon as I get these Notifications I shall upload them to this website for the information of employees.
