Eid ul Fitr is an occasion of happiness and joy. Muslims get together and celebrate Eid-ul-Fitar. Hence the expenditures increase on such occasions. It becomes difficult for Employees who work on a fixed salary to manage their expenditures. Especially when such days fall among the last days of the month. This year, Eid-ul-Fitar is falling on the 21st or 22nd of April 2023. It is a general rule that if the Eid-ul-Fitr or Eid-ul-Azha falls between 20 to the end of the month the Government pays the salary and pension in advance. So, the government of Sindh announces to pay advance salaries to the employees. The Muslim employees shall get full pay and allowance. The pensioners shall get the full pension. The salary/pension for the month of April 2023 shall be paid to Muslim employees in advance, instead of 2nd May 2023.
It is a good step by the government of Sindh. As it will allow Muslim Employees to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitar filling the requirements of the occasion.
