The Election Commission of Pakistan issued a Notification on 15-12-2023 in connection with the Ban on Transfer Posting, Leave, and Station Leave 2023. The employees will not get any station leave until the completion of the process of election 2024. The employees will not get any kind of leave except medical leave and paternity leave. The ECP has also banned all kinds of transfer posting of the employees.
Ban on Transfer Posting, Leave, and Station Leave 2023
No.f.2(1)2023-cord-vol-ix.- in pursuance of articles 218(3) & 220 of the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan section 5 and section 230 (2) (f) of the Election Act 2017, the Election Commission of Pakistan hereby direct that:
Transfer/Posting Ban
No government autonomous /semi-organization or authority in the federation and the province shall post or transfer an officer/ official the publication of the name of the retired conducted in the officer/ official till the publication of name the returned candidates on the official gazette in the cause of ant exigency proposals of posting /transfer with cogent reason if in the public interest shall be sent he election commission for consideration.
Ban on Leave
No government officer/official shall be granted leave till the completion of the election process, except maternity leave or medical leave with the authentication of a medical officer. during the upcoming winter vacation, the officers/officials of the education department shall not leave their station of posting and shall remain available at their respective workplaces to attend the training planned for polling personnel
