Government of the Punjab Finance Department issued a Notification on 21-04-2025 in connection with Redesignation of Various Posts Finance Department Punjab. The details are as follows:

Redesignation of Various Posts Finance Department Punjab

As per the Finance Department Punjab Notification No..E&A(FD)11-1/2005(Pt-II). The following restructuring in the Finance Department is hereby made with immediate effect:

1. The existing post of Deputy Secretary (Foods & Agriculture), Finance Department is re-designated as Deputy Secretary (Rural Economy), Finance Department.
2. The existing post of Section Officer (Livestock & Dairy Development / Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries), Finance Department is re-designated as Section Officer (Rural Economy), Finance Department. Henceforth, the Section Officer (Rural Economy), Finance Department, will deal with all matters about the Agriculture Department in addition to the Livestock & Dairy Development Department and the Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries Department (other than Grant 10-GA).
3. The existing post of Section Officer (Food and Cooperatives / Agriculture), Finance Department, is re-designated as Section Officer (Cooperatives & Commodities Management), Finance Department. Henceforth, the Section Officer (Cooperatives & Commodities Management), Finance Department, will deal with all matters about Price Control and the Commodities Management Department & Cooperatives Department (other than Grant 10-GA).
