Government of the Punjab  School Education Department issued a Notification on 20-05-2025 in connection with Summer Vacation 2025 SED Punjab. These summer holidays in Punjab are with effect from 28^th May 2025 till 14^th Aug 2025. The details are as follows:

Summer Vacation 2025 SED Punjab wef 28-05-2025 to 14-08-2025

As per the Notification No. SO(A-I)1-31/2022. Pursuant to approval of the competent authority, it is hereby notified that all schools (public and private) in the province of the Punjab shall remain closed w.e.f. 28.05.2025 to 14.08.2025 for summer vacations.

1. Moreover, all afternoon schools shall remain closed w.e.f. 21.05.2025 to 14.08.2025.
2. All schools in the province of Punjab shall reopen w.e.f 15th August, 2025.

All chief executive officers (DEAs) are directed to ensure compliance with the orders.

Copy Submission for Information

A copy is forwarded for information & necessary action to the following offices / departments:

1. All the deputy commissioners in Punjab.
2. The director of public instructions (SE / EE), Punjab.
3. The director of public instructions (SE / EE), South Punjab, Multan.
4. All heads of attached departments/PEIM/PEF/DREP/Cadet colleges.
5. The director (monitoring), with a request to upload the same on the official website of the school education department for general information.
6. The director general, public relations, Punjab, Lahore.
7. All chief executive officers (DEA) in Punjab.
8. Deputy secretary (staff) to the secretary, the school education department.
9. PSO to the minister for the school education department.
10. PS to secretary, special education department.
11. PS to secretary, school education department, South Punjab, Multan.
12. The PS to the secretary, literacy & non-formal basic education department.
13. PS to the secretary, school education department.
14. The PS to the special secretary, school education department.
15. PS to the additional secretary (general), school education department.
