Government of Pakistan, Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad has issued a Notification on 23-05-2025 in connection with Summer Vacations 2025 Federal Educational Institutions (FDE). The details are as follows:

Summer Vacations 2025 Federal Educational Institutions (FDE)

As per the Notification, I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to inform that summer vacation shall be observed in all educational institutions working under the ambit of the Federal Directorate of Education from 05-06-2025 to 01-08-2025. All schools and colleges shall reopen on Monday, 04-08-2025.

1. Furthermore, the timings for single-shift educational institutions shall be 0730 to 12:30 PM from Monday, 26^th May, 2025, until the commencement of the summer vacation. Heads of double shift institutions are advised to manage the evening schedule accordingly.
2. All heads of the institutions are directed to manage the following activities in their respective institution:

Activities During the Summer Holidays FDE Islamabad

1. Homework as per the given sample provided in the previous academic session shall be provided to the students.
2. Ensure the participation of teachers in training sessions. Schedule of training sessions, along with nominations, shall be communicated 3-4 days before the commencement of training sessions
3. Update the date of HRMIS.
4. Repair and maintenance work of institutions.
5. Hols and administrative staff shall follow the official time (8:am to 1:00 pm). Classes for undergraduate students (BS&ADP) shall continue as per the academic schedule/semester calendar.
6. Hols and focal persons shall remain available for the project activities, i.e., missing facilities, IT-related projects, Summer Fiesta activities, IT training courses, etc.
7. Manager, Summer Tech Boot Camps in their Institutions/Labs.
8. Libraries and IT Labs shall remain open for the subtends during summer vacation/.

4. All area education officers are requested to disseminate and implement the above-mentioned activities in true letter and spirit.

5. This is issued with he approval of the Director General (FDE).
