Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department issued a Notification on 08-07-2025 in connection with Executive Allowance 2025 @ 1.2 Running Basic Pay KPK. The details are as follows:
Executive Allowance 2025 @ 1.2 Running Basic Pay KPK.
As per the Notification, in pursuance of the Provincial Cabinet in its special meeting held on 13.06.2025. This notification is also in supersession of all previous notifications regarding Executive Allowance. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been pleased to revise Executive Allowance to the officers working against the schedule posts from BPS-17 to BPS-21 to the tune of 1.2 Running Basic Pay per month w.e.f. 1st July, 2025.
The provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is further pleased that 20% of the difference between the running basic pay and the initial basic pay deducted as part of “Pay as You Go” Pension Contribution stands discontinued w.e.f. 1st July, 2025.
The above allowance will be admissible subject to the following conditions:
Conditions
- It will be subject to Income Tax.
- It will not be counted towards pension and commutation/ gratuity.
iii. Executive Allowances will be admissible to only those officers who Establishment and Administration Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, posts.
- This allowance is admissible to Officers on Special Duty (OSD); however, the same will not be admissible to officers who are on Extraordinary Leave (EOL) or Suspension or on Earned Leave for more than 120 days.
- Those officers posted on deputation against the scheduled posts shall either draw Executive Allowance OR Cadre Specific allowance plus deputation allowance, whichever is more beneficial.
- Officers employed on a pay Package other than the National Pay Scale are not entitled to this allowance.
vii. This allowance shall not be admissible to the officers in the receipt of Senior Executive Allowance.
