Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department issued a Notification on 08-07-2025 in connection with the revised Increase in Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) 2025 KPK Employees. The KP Government grants the DRA rates from 15% on the starting basic pay of the 2022 Pay Scales. The details are as follows:

As per the Notification, the Governor of the KP is pleased to announce an increase in DRA from 15% to 30% of the initial Basic Pay Scales 2022 to all those employees who are already getting Disparity Reduction Allowance. These employees are from BPS-01 to BPS-19. They will get this DRA with effect from 1^st July 2025.

 

Revised Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) 2025 KPK Employees

 

The Finance Department of KP announced an increase in DRA from 15% to 30%. Net increase as per the Notification is 15% of the initial of the Revised Pay Scales 2022. Federal Government, Finance Department has already issued the Notification of Disparity Reduction Allowance @ 30% (Federal) on the basic pay as on 30-06-2022, but the KP Government increased @ 15% on the initial of 2022 pay scales.

 

Main Features of DRA-2025

 

• On the initial basic pay of the 2022 Pay Scales
• BPS-01 to BPS-21 employees will get
• The amount granted @15% of initial of the revised pay scales 2022.
• The effective Date of the DRA increase is 01-07-2025

 

Terms & Conditions

 

1. KPK Govt employees who are getting additional allowance/allowances equal to or more than 100% of the basic pay will not get this allowance (DRA).
2. The Officers getting IT Professional Allowance or Secretariat Performance Allowance will not get this allowance.
3. The employees on suspension will get this allowance.
4. Disparity Reduction Allowance will not be admissible to those employees on deputation abroad or posting abroad.
