Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Interior issued a letter on 26-01-2026 in connection with updates of the Demands of AGEGA 2026 for the Federal/Provincial Government employees of Pakistan. The details are as follows:
Updates of the Demands of AGEGA 2026 for Employees
As per the Letter of MoI, in pursuance of the Prime Minister’s Office U.O No. 418/SPM/2025 dated 09-02-2025, a meeting of the committee with All Govt Employees Grand Alliance has been scheduled to be held under the Chairmanship of Rana Sana Ullah Khan, the Honorable Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs / Minister for Interior Provincial Coordination. The meeting time is 1130 HRS on 27th January 2026 in the committee room, Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination, second floor, Kohsar Block, Pakistan Secretariat, Islamabad. The purpose of the meeting is to review the grievances and demands of AGEGA.
The AGEGA is playing a vital role in the rights of the Government employees, especially the Federal Government employees. The AGEGA has gained success in many demands in the previous years. The main achievement is the Disparity Reduction Allowance 2021, 2022, and 2025. The revised pay scale 2022 is also the achievement of AGEGA. Now the future main targets are as follows:
Main Demands of the Government Employees
- Revised Pay Scales 2026
- Merging of All Adhoc Relief Allowances
- Increase in Medical Allowance
- Increase in Conveyance Allowance
- Grant of increasd in House Rent Allowance for all employees
- Equal salary package for Govt employees
It is to mention here that Governent has already started preparation to give relief to employees in the Budget 2026-27. In this regard, there are chances that the Federal Government will grant maximum possible to the employees. The employees are expecting that the government will fulfil their all their demands in the budget 2026-2027.
