Ministry of Finance, Government of Pakistan, issued the latest Notification Grant of Residential Hiring of Higher Time Scale on 12 March 2026 in connection with clarification regarding entitlement under Special Dispensation Policy-2023 for employees granted higher time scale.

Clarification Regarding Entitlement Under Special Dispensation Policy-2023
The undersigned is directed to refer to the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination’s O.M. F. No.1-7/2021-ADMN/GENERAL dated 10-03-2026 on the subject noted above and to clarify that the employees who have been awarded the benefit of a higher time scale under Special Dispensation Policy – 2023 are also entitled to the rental ceilings for hiring of residential accommodation of that higher time scale.
