Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Administration Department, issued a Notification on 29-06-2026 in connection with Friday as a Working Day instead of Work from Home in KPK. The details are as follows:
Friday as a Working Day instead of Work from Home in KPK
As per the Notification, in pursuance of the directions communicated during the 54th meeting of the provincial cabinet, held on 29th June 2026. The Administration Department’s instructions issued vide Notification No. SOC(E&AD)13-3/2026 dated 17 March 2026, regarding Friday being 100% work from home are hereby withdrawn with immediate effect.
Earlier, keeping in view the hikes in petrol prices in the country, the department announced Friday as a closed day. As petroleum prices have now come down, the department has again decided to keep Friday as a working day.
