Ministry of Finance issued a Notification on 23-07-2026 in connection with Revised Rates of Mark-up Chargeable Loans 2025-26. The details are as follows:
Revised Rates of Mark-up Chargeable Loans / Advances 2025-26
As per the Notification, the Finance Division has notified the Rate of mark-up chargeable on development loans and advances by the federal government for the fiscal year 2025-26. According to the Notification, I am directed to state that the following final rates of mark-up chargeable on the following categories have been fixed by the Federal Government: –
- Cash Development Loans to the Provincial Governments.
- Loans to local bodies, financial and non-financial institutions and other Corporations.
- Capital outlays of the Federal Government in the commercial departments.

Rates of Mark-up on Advances 2025-26
In case of loans and advances for purchase of Conveyance and House Building, the final rate of mark-up, i.e., 11.89% per annum, has been fixed for the Fiscal Year 2025-26.
