According to the Daily Jang, Govt has refused to increase the salaries of the Govt Employees. Federal & Provincial Governments want to utilize the funds on development programs before the upcoming election. Federal and Provincial Governments refused to introduce Unified Pay Scales wef 01-01-2013.
Proof that MA Education is Equivalent to M.ED
Various questions aroused by the visitors of www.glxspace.com regarding the equivalence of M.A. Education Degree to M.Ed. as their concerned departments failed to grant them to teaching allowance on the basis of M.A. Education. Finance Division Regulation Wing Islamabad has issued Notification No. F.1 (2) –Reg.6/91-Vol-IX dated 24th December 2012 in connection with implementations of the recommendation of Pay & Pension Commission-2009 regarding Special Additional Pension & Provision of Orderly/Driver to the Officers in BPS-20 and above on retirement.
Amendment in Federal Employees Benevolent Fund & Group Insurance Rules-1972
Establish Division Federal Employees Benevolent & Group Insurance Funds has made amendment in Federal Employees Benevolent Fund & Group Insurance Rules-1972 vide Notification No. 18-22/Act-Amdt/Plan 2002 dated 23rd November 2012. The new rates will be admissible wef 01-09-2012.
The minimum rates of monthly Benevolent Grant has been raised to Rs.4000/- with the maximum of Rs.10,100/- PM as per the column 5 of Sixth Schedule. In the same way the rates of monthly subscription of Benevolent Fund have also been increased from 2% to 2.40% of the basic pay without maximum limit as per column 4 of Sixth Schedule.
