Today I am going to explain the main points in connection with the seniority list. While preparing the seniority there are many points that must be kept in mind so that the accuracy may be maintained in the seniority list. There may be some other points in complicated cases but I am mentioning below some salient points in connection with the seniority.
I am going to discuss with detail about the Medical Allowance for the employees of BPS-16 & Above. Various visitors of GLXSpace.com (Galaxy World) aroused a question that they have been upgraded/promoted from lower scales to BPS-16 and above but their Medical Allowance is the same as they were earlier availing. They asked why the Medical Allowance is not 15 % of their Basic Pay.
Medical Reimbursement Charges is the amount that is claimed by the Govt Employee due to the illness or disease of his family, parents or himself. Although the process of claiming Medical Charges is somewhat difficult, however if the following rulings be kept in mind then this process can be made easy.
A Government Servant must always apply through proper channel for another job. It is very important for a Govt Servant. If he/she does not do so then he/she will have to repent on it in future when he/she will have to face the loss of previous service. If an employee doesn’t apply for a job through proper channel his previous service is not counted and neither is he entitled to pay protection. In this way he/she not only loses his/her previous service but also he/she will not be able to protect his previous pay. If he/she is drawing some Adhoc Relief Allowances, he/she will also lose the benefit of these allowances. He/she will only draw his fresh pay and allowances in this situation.
A Govt employee has option to withdraw or modify the request for premature retirement but the condition is that the request for premature retirement has not yet been accepted by the competent authority. Once the competent authority has accepted his/her request for the said purpose, the employee can not withdraw his request.

Many employees who find other jobs and they cannot continue their service are in a habitual of leaving the department without proper procedure this may cause a great penalty for such employees.
