Government of the Sindh, Health Department has issued letter in connection with minutes of the meeting regarding upgradation of the post of computer operator. The pointed approved in the meeting are related to Upgradation of IT Cadre Posts Health Department Sindh. Detail of the same is as under:

In the light of Provincial Cabinet meeting held on 25.4.2019, SGA&CD notified a committee comprising Minister for Information Science & Technology , Minister for Education and Culture , Minister for Health and Population Welfare, Secretary Finance , secretary (Services) and Secretary Information Science and Technology to deliberate upon different aspects of the subject matter including financial implication, service structure , potential amendments in rules, comparison with other provinces and suggestions regarding introduction of uniform policy in all departments vide Notification NO.SOVI(SGA&CD)/13-27/2019, dated 20.05.2019(FLAG-A).
Accordingly, a meeting was called under the chair of honorable Minister for Health on 16.09.2019. The list of participants is attached at FLAG-B.
The representative of Finance Department briefed the Committee that sister Provinces i.e. Punjab and K.P.K have upgrading the post IT Cadre. Finance Department instituted a Summary for Chief Minister Sindh Proposing therein that the matter may be placed before Cabinet for seeking its approval for upgradation of IT related posts existing under Government of Sindh Departments on the pattern of Punjab Government as under Government department may be advised to reserve the recruitment rules of the posts accordingly. Finance implication of RS. 458.752 million Involved into the matter was worked out.
