Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department (Section Welfare-I) has issued Notification on 08-11-2019 in connection with Punjab Government Press Release / Corrigendum Public Holidays 2019-Eid Milad un Nabi, 12 Rabi-ul-Awal. Detail is as under:
No.SOW-I(S&GAD)1-4/2018 (P-III): In pursuance of Government of Pakistan Corrigendum / Press Release bearing No. 02/07/2018-Public dated 04.11.2019 and in continuation of this Department`s notification of even number dated 07.03.2019, it is notified for general information of public that:
Sunday 10th November, 2019 will be celebrates as Eid Milad-Un-Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awal 1441 AH) throughout the province of Punjab, And.
Monday 11th November, 2019 will be treated as Official working day in Punjab.
The above Press Release may be published in all major English and Urdu Dailies both at National and Regional levels and be given Wide Publicity through electronic Media.It is further added that Federal Government Ministry of Interior has also issued Notification on 4th Nov 2019 in connection with celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). Now Punjab Government has also followed the same Notification and issued corrigendum in continuation of their previous Notification of Annual Holidays 2019.
