Through the 20th National Science Talent Contest (NSTC-20), the students can win Gold Medal (Rs. 120, 000/-) for Pre-Ninth to F.Sc Students. They can also win other medals and prizes.

The Higher Education Commission is providing opportunities to the students to present Pakistan in International Science Olympiads. The International Science Olympiad in different subjects will be held in Different Countries. The HEC will select students through National Science  Talent Contests.  Here are the details.

 

20th NSTC

 

The  HEC is starting the 20th NSTC for the Selection of Intelligent and smart students. The winner of the contest shall give students a chance to present Pakistan at the Forum of International Science Olympiad. The International Contest will be held in Different Countries. HEC will also award the students with a handsome amount for winning  5 different medals in NSTC. Moreover, the member of teams of the Intermediate Science Olympiad shall get a chance for admission to BS Programme without entry test.

International Science Olympiads

 

International Science Olympiads will be held in July 2024.  The competition will be held in Different Countries.  The International Science Olympiad will be held in the following countries with respect to Subjects:

Schedule of Screening Test for National Science Talent Contest and Registration

 

The National Science Talent Contest screening test will be held on 19th March 2023. The online registration is open till 20th February 2023. Students can apply online through STEM.

  • Muzaffarabad
  • Peshawar
  • Karachi
  • Faisalabad
  • Hyderabad
  • Quetta

Eligibility Criteria for NSTC

 

The students of Pre 9th, 9th, 10th, and 11th, grades (matric / O Level/FSC-1/A Level) can participate who passed previous examinations with 60%.  The students of FSc are not eligible.
